Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 16, 1920 at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Their colors are royal blue and white and their symbol is the dove. Zeta was the first of the NPHC sororities to charter a chapter in Africa, to centralize its operations at a national headquarters, and to organize adult/youth auxilliary groups. They are the only sorority constitutionally bound to a brother fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
